Book groups at Kett’s Books

Updated 29-12-21

At Kett’s Books we believe that book groups are right at the heart of our community purpose. They give people a great way to meet each other, with a conversation built in from the beginning.

We currently run four book groups. Some of these are still meeting online, but we are trying to move back to meeting in person:

Second Tuesday of the month in the evening – this group is fully subscribed.

First Wednesday 1:00: meeting in the White Hart pub, Wymondham, 1:00 – spaces are available. These are the books we’re currently reading:

August The Girl at the Lion d’Or by Sebastian Faulks
Sept The Rabbit Factor by Antti Tuomainen
Oct The Long Long Afternoon by Inga Vesper
Nov The Dictionary of Lost Words by Pip Williams

Last Thursday lunchtime: meeting in the Station Bistro, Wymondham, 12:00 (fully subscribed)

Nappy Rush: meeting second Fridays at Twin Teapots in Kenninghall 10-12 (fully subscribed) This group is for parents and carers of very young children. Selections are strictly limited to shorter titles – 180 pages max. It’s not a baby group or about children’s books, although a few recommendations may get mentioned in passing!

If you are interested in joining or leading a book group, please do email us on hello@kettsbooks.co.uk. We look forward to getting to know you!
